Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) supply to filling stations in Sindh, including Karachi, will remain closed on Wednesday, according to a new schedule issued by the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC). According to media reports, officials said that gas load-shedding would be carried out only for 24 hours since the weekly closure was not observed by filling stations during Eidul Azha (27-29 Oct). On Wednesday, the filling stations would be closed from 9.00 am and would reopen on Thursday at 9.00 am as part of the government’s load-management plan, according to a SSGC statement. SSGC warned that fuel gas supply to schedule violators would be suspended for 48 more hours.
