Zardari‚ political leaders discuss democratic process in the country

President Asif Ali Zardari in a telephonic conversation with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Hoti and Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi discussed political situation‚ democratic process and terrorist incidents in the country.
During talks President Zardari and MQM Chief Altaf Hussain have agreed that PPP and MQM will jointly face the challenges confronting the country.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain in a telephonic conversation discussed political situation, steps to promote democracy in Pakistan and other matters.
President Zardari and Altaf Hussain during the conversation also exchanged eid greetings.
Both leaders condemned attacks on girls schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and an attack on Ziarat Kaka Sahib shrine in Nowshera. They called for struggle to curb extremism and terrorism in Pakistan.
The President during talks with chief of JUI Maulana Fazlur Rehman‚ Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti and Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi discussed issues related to political stability and democratic development in the country.
The President also greeted them on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
