A son of a house owner on Thursday gunned down his tenant after an exchange of hot words over a financial dispute.
According to details, Ishfaq had rented the house in Gulberg area of Lahore and the owner Ameen had received four lakh rupees from him as security. The house owner asked the renter to vacate the rented house but he insisted to return his security first which led to exchange of hot words. After finding out about the incident, Ameen’s son reached the scene and opened fire at Ishfaq, injuring him critically.
The injured was rushed to Services Hospital but he succumbed to his wounds during treatment. The police arrested both the accused and registering a case against them, started the investigation.
