The law enforcement agencies during search operation in different areas of violence-hit Balochistan province arrested 22 suspects including five proclaimed offenders and recovered arms from their possession on Thursday.
According to details, the security forces in the wake of federal interior ministry and provincial government directives to ensure fool proof security on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha carried out search operations in various areas across province.
Officials said the operation was started late Wednesday night and it continued till Thursday morning.
Quetta’s Sariyab area remained the main target of security forces in search operation where miscreants often target innocent people in blasts and drive-by attacks.
During operation five proclaimed offenders among 22 suspects were arrested. The security forces also recovered arms and ammunition from the possession of detainees.
