President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday constituted a four-member committee of senior leaders to remove his party’s differences with the Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q).
Reports suggest that Manzoor Wattoo’s appointment as PPP Punjab chief has caused a stir in the PML-Q ranks.
According to a private television channel, a notification was issued about the formation of committee comprising Nazar Muhammad Gondal, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Manzoor Watto and Imtiaz Safdar Waraich.
The committee will soon meet the representative of PML-Q in Punjab and Islamabad.
It will listen to the grievances of its main coalition partner before presenting a report to President Zardari.
