Of Musharraf and present rulers

Indeed Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf was a dictator. He desecrated our constitution and fuelled polarisation in our country. He ensured the big time plunder of our country by Nazims and Naib Nazims. He rendered the Sindhis and Balochis as second class citizens. He made a mockery of the Pakistani courts.
But what about the present ruling elite, and bureaucrats and technocrats in today’s Pakistan, in particular, in my home province Sindh?
It is these, the corrupt to the core, these national parasites, who are supposedly destined to rid our country of decadence and instil the rule of law and to usher prosperity in our country. They are well known as kings of corruption, an organised family of crime, and a national disgrace too embarrassing to the eye as they are an insult to the dignity of our country.
It is this group without conscience, without morals, ethics, without culture, the natural born liars, psychotic, cruel, vengeful, demagogues, coward, corrupt, who are asking us to follow their “vision” nonsense. It is this group without a base and without a home – many of them with ‘dual nationality’ – calling upon us to “enlighten, educate and democratise” Pakistan. These are the men man who have made our country a virtual prison, and insecure for all and sundry.
Our present rulers can also deceive themselves to their heart’s content. They can be in denial all they want. But the real world is defined. We can never forget. Victims never forget. People of conscience never forget, and they can never be bought off or swindled. There are things money cannot buy. The fate of a country and a people can never be in the market place; they can never be subject to negotiation or auction.
The murdered can never go without justice. Our present rulers should not make any mistake about it; they can never buy their way out of their crimes. The Pakistani people want justice. They want to see them before the court of law for their heinous and long list of crimes including fiscal mismanagement, misuse and misappropriation. That is the reality and nothing can alter that fact. Countless conferences, meetings, rallies and rigging the polls, and even their teaming up with fascists groups, can never save them from facing justice.
