Man held at Islamabad airport with 2kg heroin

Customs authorities on Wednesday foiled a smuggling bid by arresting a suspected drug smuggler at Benazir Bhutto International Airport.
According to Customs official, upon a tip-off, the customs officials were alert at the airport during check-in for a Saudi-bound flight.
The accused was asked for a search which led to the recovery of over two kilogram heroin concealed in secret pocket of his bag, officials said, adding that he was a Pakistani citizen holding a Pakistani passport.
The Customs officials handed the man over to Anti-Narcotics Force for further investigation.
