A man tortured his 10-year-old son to death for smoking. According to police, Nasir Ali had warned his son to quit smoking. Catching the boy smoking again, he assaulted him with rods and pipes. The boy, Ali Akbar, died following the beating. Police have arrested the father and sent the boy’s body to Civil Hospital for post mortem.
