Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that enduring peace in the region could only be ensured by fulfilling the wishes and desires of the people of Kashmir.
During a meeting with the occupied Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference Chairman, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, the PML-N president said that the people of Kashmir should have all the right to enjoy political, economic and social privileges in the same manner as other citizens of independent states did.
He said that Kashmiris should also have a right to live their lives independently without any constraints.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Ghani said that the Kashmir issue could be resolved by following the steps taken by the government of Nawaz regarding this issue.
