Four persons have been shot dead in different areas of the city.
According to police sources, a man, who was injured in a firing incident that occurred in Rexor Line area, succumbed to injuries.
A tortured dead body of a man was found from Korangi. He was kidnapped and then shot dead, sources said.
Sources also told that hand-tied body of a policeman, bearing torture signs, was recovered from Lea Market area, adding that the victim was identified as head constable Muhammad Zaheer. He was posted at Kalri police station.
Another body, police said, was found near Manghopir bypass area this morning.
Meanwhile, Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Police has arrested three members belonging to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) after conducting raid in Manghopir area of the city on Wednesday.
According to SP CID Aslam Khan, the police arrested the men were also involved in several incidents of target killings also.
The arrested men are identified as Naimat Khan Mehsud, Baqi Khan Mehsud and Hameedullah Mehsud.
Police also recovered hand grenades, other weapons and a vehicle from their custody.
