Metropolitan police in their on-going drive against criminals arrested 42 social and legal deviants. Per police sources, amongst those arrested, were 16 absconders who were arrested after eight police encounters against six gangs on Wednesday. In all, 17 pistols, a dagger and four mobile phones recovered were recovered by the police. The police registered cases against all 42 and their interrogation was initiated.
