A woman on Tuesday allegedly threw her four children into Rohri Canal before committing suicide by jumping into the same water in Khirpur district of Sindh, rescue sources said.
The sources said that the incident took place in Gambat area of the district.
The people who were present at the moment called the rescue teams to recover the bodies.
“The bodies of a woman and her two children have been recovered while the search is being carried out to recover the bodies of two others,” the sources said.
“We have found two school bags from the site of the incident.
It is apparently a result of family conflict, however we are investigating into the incident,” police sources said.
