The police on Tuesday conducted raids and arrested many criminals from different area of the city. According to reports, the police arrested a criminal named Sher Bahadur from the area of Hanjarwaal. Police said that the criminal kidnapped a man named Manzoor Ahmed five days ago, killed him and buried his dead body in Narang Mendi. In another raid, Iqbal Town police arrested 6 gamblers. The police said that they were gambling in a fish shop at Main Boulevard. They recovered thousands rupees worth of cash and mobiles phones from their possession.
Police also arrested six members of Fayiaz robbery gang from the area of Sundar, and recovered two motorbikes, Rs 50,000 cash, many mobile phones, weapons and other valuables from their possession.
