Prominent trader killed in Turbat, businessmen observe shutter down strike

Despite supreme and high courts taking serious notice of the police failure to check the incidents of target killings, law enforcement agencies have miserably failed in apprehending the culprits who are threatening the lives of the people at their will.
On Tuesday, unidentified armed men shot dead a prominent trader Khalid Moosa Panghuri while he was sitting at his shop here. The incident create scare among the people and the traders and shopkeepers closed down their businesses in protest.
Large number of people, owners of shops and employees gathered in the Bazar and staged a strong protest against police failure to nab the culprits.
Police took the dead body to the hospital for postmortem and later handed over to the heirs for burial.
Turbat is one of the troubled districts where incidents of target killing and kidnapping have become order of the day. What is more worrisome for the people is that the accused escape from the scene and are never apprehended.
