At least four persons including two policemen were killed in the ongoing violence in different areas of the city on Tuesday.
According to police sources, police constable Muhammad Sajid Baloch was shot dead in a firing incident that took place in the limits of the Eidgah Police Station.
In another firing incident, a 35-year-old man identified as Ameer Lal, was killed in Jamali Goth, Super Highway.
Zohaib, who was previously injured in a firing incident in North Nazimabad, succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, another constable, Hasnain Ahmed also succumbed to his injuries in the Risala area.
On the other hand, police arrested three robbers from a sacrificial animals market in the city.
The incident occurred in the market near the Super Highway, where three robbers tried to rob a man and killed him on resistance. The deceased was identified as Abid.
People in the market caught the robbers and handed them over to the police after beating them.
