The Capital Development Authority (CDA) initiated measures to change its workplace culture and awarded appreciation certificates to officers and employees.
CDA Chairman Tahir Shahbaz awarded certificates to different officers and called them ‘Rising Stars’ for their performance in the computerisation of land and estate management records of the authority. During the certificate distribution ceremony held at the CDA headquarters on Tuesday, the chairman said that it was time to change the entire working culture of CDA. He said that hardworking officers of CDA would be appreciated and awarded certificates for outstanding performance to help inculcate a positive attitude to resolve issues promptly. Estate Member Shaista Sohail told the chairman that the computerisation of land records, including commercial, residential and agro-farming plots had been initiated. She said that progress reports would be submitted to the chairman everyday. She further said that the purpose of computerisation of all records was to make the process of documentation of land related issues more transparent, un-forgeable, convenient and time saving.
