An agitated mother on Monday strangulated her six-year-old daughter in Sargodha following a dispute with her husband over Eid clothes. According to police, accused Bashiran Bibi had an argument with her husband Muhammad Naeem, who refused to buy her new clothes for Eid due to financial constraints. After Naeem left the house for work, the enraged woman strangulated her six-year-old daughter Sumaira and fled. The police moved the body to hospital where doctors confirmed that the death was a result of strangulation. A case has been registered and police have started search for the accused.
Meanwhile in Muzaffargarh, a callous man buried alive his 13-month old daughter after a dispute with his wife on Monday. Per details, accused Imtiaz was suspicious about the character of his wife and was unsure of his daughter’s lineage. On Monday, Imtiaz took the girl out and buried her alive, resulting in her death. The accused fled after committing the crime. Police registered a case against the accused and started raids for his arrest.
