Punjab Health Department has not issued appointment letters to vaccinators and technicians who had passed tests and interviews a year ago. The employees talking to INP deplored that they had been waiting for appointment letters even though they had gone through all the necessary recruitment procedures. They said that the Health Department had neither issued appointment letters nor given reasons for delay in the issuance of appointment letters. Candidates appealed to the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Rawalpindi Commissioner Imdad Ullah Bosal to issue orders of issuing appointment letters to them.
