Rangers launched raids in the Nazimabad and Yousuf Goth areas of the metropolis, and detained nine suspects while also recovering weapons and drugs from their possession,according to media reports. Meanwhile, a gunny-bagged body was found in Nazimabad, the identity of which was not yet ascertained. An injured person, who was shot the other day near Joria Bazar also succumbed to his injuries in a local hospital. Angry mobs damaged the emergency ward of the Civil Hospital and initiated violence against the hospital staffers over the death of a man named Shoaib. Sources said that rangers arrested six suspects during their raids on drugs den located in Nazimabad and recovered weapons and drugs from the area. Rangers also carried out raids in the Yousuf Goth area and arrested three suspects who were taken to an undisclosed location for interrogation, the sources added.
