A body was recovered in the jurisdiction of Ganjmandi Police Station. The police recovered a body in Hazara Colony, however the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained. The body was shifted to a hospital for medico-legal purposes.
Residents requested Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the Rawalpindi police to take notice of the increasing incidents of dumping dead bodies which indicated inefficiency of the police department. This was the fifth dead body recovered from the area but the police have failed to trace the murderers in any of the five incidents.
