Three prisoners accused of murder escaped from the central Haripur jail, police said Sunday.
Jail sources said three convicts Sohrab, Sher Afsar and Tariq fled away by scaling over the wall while Zafar was arrested while he was trying to escape.
Police have suspended eleven personnel and a case has been registered against them.
The search for the runaway convicts has been started by cordoning off the area.
