4 vehicles snatched, 2 elderly killed by over-speeding vehicles

Criminals continued there activities in different area of the city on Sunday. According to the report, robbery incident occurred in the area of Garden Town where a citizen, Faisal, and his family were on their way to meet someone. Two robbers on a motorbike stopped them midway and snatched 3 tolas of gold, a few thousand rupees, mobile phones and then escaped from the scene. Robbers also snatched vehicles from many citizens. A citizen named Waqas deprived from his motorbike with the registration number LEW 9952 from Sabzazar, a citizen named Mazhar’s motorbike with the registration number LEK 9496 was stolen from Green Town, Saeed’s motorbike bearing the registration number LEV 9932 was taken from Gaziabad and Tahir’s car bearing the registration number LXL 1899 was also stolen from Johar Town. Separately, 6 people, including one woman, died in different accidents. The police handed over the dead bodies to their family members after completing initials investigation. Another traffic accident occurred when an over-speeding police van hit a 60-years-old unidentified man and killed him on the Campus Bridge. A woman was also killed when a bus hit her at Ichra.
