32 suspects arrested during Koral search operation

The Koral Police Station conducted search operation in various areas falling under its jurisdiction and nabbed a total of 32 suspects, a police spokesman said on Sunday. The search operation was conducted by the Koral police station in different areas and included the scanning of under-construction buildings, houses and hotels. A total of 32 suspects were arrested by the police during the operation for failing to produce proper identification documents. Following the directions of Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP), Bani Amin Khan, a team of the mentioned police station headed by sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), Arshad Khokhar, Station House Officer (SHO), Mehboob Ahmed and Additional SHO, Malik Akhtar conducted search operations in different areas of the city. The police teams had also impounded two suspected vans and four motorbikes as these were being driven without any valid documents. The IGP and Islamabad Senior Superintendant Police (SSP), Yaseen Farooq directed the officials concerned to expand the search operation to other areas of the city and asked them to ensure strict monitoring and vigilance of suspected elements. The purpose of starting the search operation was to ensure foolproof security in the capital city, the IGP added.
