Malala attack and US culpability

The despicable attack on Malala has initiated a strong pressure regarding necessity of the North Waziristan Agency (NWA) Operation by Pak Army to flush out the terrorists of TTP who are holed up in the inaccessible depths of its rugged terrain. An important aspect that goes untouched in this debate are the reports which indicate that Fazalullah had planned and executed the attack, while based in his safe haven in Kunar Province of Afghanistan where ISAF troops and Afghan National Army are operationally responsible to hold them in check and eliminate them through various means including drones at their command.
While pragmatically weighing options related to NWA Operation, Pakistan must ask the US military commanders in Afghanistan, to eliminate Fazalullah and his affiliated terrorists based in Kunar and Nooristan provinces who are trying their utmost to return Swat and adjoining areas to mayhem.
Instead of leaning heavily on Pakistan for launching NWA Operation, the US will be well advised to clean up Kunar and Nooristan provinces where the attackers of Malala Yousafzai are brazenly deployed right under the nose of ISAF and ANA troops.
