As many as two people including a political activist were killed overnight in different firing incidents in the metropolis, media reports said Friday.
Some unidentified miscreants opened fire in Korangi’s Bilal Colony, killing a man Wali Pathan. The body has been shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
Meantime, a man, Yousuf Siddiqui was injured in a firing incident in Orangi Town’s Millat Colony. He was transported to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he succumbed to wounds. It should be mentioned here that Siddiqui’s cousin Zeeshan was gunned down in the same firing incident.
Condemning the killing, a Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Sohail Abidi said the deceased was the party operative.
