City Police on Thursday conducted a raid on a gambling den operating in the Pirwadhai area and arrested five persons for their alleged involvement in illegal activities.
Working on a tip-off, the police raided the gambling house operating in “Gali Loharan” of Pirwadhai and caught Zaheer, Shaukat, Tasueer, Maqsood and Mansoor red-handed and confiscated the bet money and valuables. The police registered cases against the accused under the relevant act.
