Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has said Pakistan and India have no other option but to pursue the path of dialogue to resolve their outstanding disputes.
Addressing Pakistan-India Peace Media Conference here on Friday‚ he said war is not solution to any problem.
He emphasized the need for greater people to people contacts for removing the trust deficit between the two countries.
The Minister said social media can effectively play its role to bring peoples of the two countries together.
Thirty-member delegations of Delhi and Chandigarh Press clubs also attended the conference.
Better late than never that commonsense will prevail, however, I am still not sure as the commonsense is not common. There are powerful vested interests not in control of the present govt.
How I wish Mr. Kaira's sage advice was available to our rulers in 1947 when they thought war was the only way to get Kashmir and solve all other problems.
Door aaye, darust aaye!
