Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) appealed to the consumers for conserving electricity as the company forecasted a decline in production on account of lowered supply of gas. KESC requested the consumers to reduce their carbon prints between 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM when the power demand in the metropolis exceeds 2400 megawatts. KESC said that rationalizing the use of air-conditioning and refrigeration would optimize load distribution for the maximum possible consumers.
