CJ, SC registrar should resign for violating SOPs: Abidi

Senator Faisal Raza Abidi has demanded immediate resignation of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and Supreme Court Registrar Dr Faqeer Hussain for violating SOPs of the Supreme Judicial Council.
Talking on a point-of-order during Thursday’s Senate session, Abidi was critical of the CJ for his correspondence with the FIA, which per him exceeded the CJ’s authority and opined that the CJ used the Supreme Court letterhead to provide a safe cover to his son.
“My chief justice is Justice Tassadaq Hussain Jilani,” he declared.
Abidi was also chagrined over being denied a chance to speak in the Senate for the last five days, saying if Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry’s family had any reservations against him, they should file defamation charges. “I have documents to prove my case, but I am not being given an opportunity for a hearing by the Supreme Court,” he complained bitterly.
Accusing the chief justice of various felonies, he said the country faced a judicial martial law and stressed that the Supreme Judicial Council, taking due cognizance of its SOPs, should take notice of his accusations, register them and provide him with a reference number.

Abidi,it is better that post of Chief Justice of Pakistan should be assinged to Syed Asif Ali Zardari and Registrar must be Mr.Rehman Malik,then the devil groupf PPP and anti-Islam lobby will be very happy and will be liberal in functioning their own terms and conditions in the country and the whole world will dance on their fings.wah ray wah abidi teri bombay.Do you want this bloody system and include this chapter in your manifeso in the coming election.

Abidi are you in sense.Do you know what are you talking about.it is advisable you must consult to the mental hospital as early as possible,otherwise you will loose all your 6 senses immediately.think before you leap.Give up this rubbish and senseless subjects and be productive do not damage the image of Pakistan to its lowest.

  10. When this senator puts allegation to the chief Justice of Pakistan then he should answer these allegations. He should clear his position. What stops him to do so? A Chief Justice do not stay above law. Every body should be equally treated under the law of Pakistan.

  21. Regardless of what kind of character Abidi posesses, his allegations against CJ must be taken serious. If there is any truth to his allegations then Pakistan has a big problem. Lets not assasinate Abidi's character. Lets stay focus on his allegations against CJ. If abidi is a drunkard and a drug addict, it makes no difference to the citizens of Pakistan but if CJ is found to be corrupt then it makes a BIG difference to the citizens because you can't expect justice from a corrupt person.

  22. If there is a minor truth about his allegations, this will be another huge disappointment for this nation. This CJ knows how the entire nation fought for his case and he should be very careful about the code of conduct for his position.
    As a nation we demand this CJ to clarify these allegations and if he fails to explain his case, we should run another movement for his removal (it will be very unfortunate incident of our history).
