Balochistan doctors’ strike enters its second day

The Balochistan doctors’ province-wide strike against the kidnapping and murders of their colleagues entered its second on Friday, causing severe difficulties to patients from far-flung areas.
The Pakistan Medical Association’s (PMA) Balochistan chapter announced the strike in protest against the kidnapping of their colleague Dr. Saeed Ahmed Khan.
The out-patient departments in all government hospitals remained completely closed, whereas general operation theatres and wards were boycotted by the protesting doctors.
Earlier, unknown gunmen had killed Dr Abdul Hamid Shahwani in Mastung on Oct 6 and Dr Dawood Aziz Jan was shot dead in Khuzdar on Oct 8. While, a renowned eye specialist, Dr Saeed Ahmed Khan, was abducted on Oct 16 by unidentified armed men from Quetta’s Sariab Road.

  1. who cares for them?they are not malala or VIP of Pakistan so as per habit we should ignore the miseries of neglected people and will focus what veena malik or kiyani or zardari that what is their busy schedule in this country.

  2. Law of the jungle or a banana state give it any name the facts will not change, The hard reality is that if you earn more pay more to "Bhatta mafia" or face the music. On a more serious note one may be killed because of his ethnic or religious background. Law enforcing agencies have become irrelevant in this atmosphere of vengeance madness and the dance of death. Uncertainty is the only certainty.
