TMA constitutes teams to impound sacrificial animals

Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) has constituted teams to confiscate sacrificial animals in a bid to keep the city neat and clean on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
Banners have been exhibited by TMA to warn cattle owners not to bring sacrificial animals within the city limits. It has set up a camp and is ready to take action against cattle owners. TMA squad will confiscate sacrificial animals and impose fines on violators.
The TMA squad will visit various localities including Cricket Stadium, Saidpur Road, Pirwadhi, Khana Road, Marrir Hassan and Railway Workshop.
On special instructions of District Coordination Officer Saqib Zafar, Rawal Town Administrator Saif Anwar Jappa prohibited the entry of sacrificial animals in the city. The average price of a goat ranges from Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 and a cow would cost Rs 70,000-80,000 this year.
