Former Federal Minister and PML-Q leader Makhdoom Ahmad Alam Anwar met Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Thursday and announced joining of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Makhdoom Ahmad Alam Anwar who had been returning to the National Assembly since 1980s from his seat expressed his confidence in the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif.
On this occasion, the Punjab chief minister said the joining of Makhdoom Ahmad Alam Anwar was a proof of increasing popularity of the PML-N. He said his joining would further strengthen the party.
Shahbaz Sharif expressed confidence that the PML-N would return with a massive majority in the coming elections.
