Dead body recovered from National Hospital’s parking

Defence B police recovered the dead body of 45 years old Abdul Qadir on Wednesday from a car parked in the parking area of National Hospital.
According to details, the deceased was a businessman and was involved in the business of renting out motorcycles. He was the father of four children and lived in Millat Park area of the city.
The family members of the deceased Qadir said that the deceased informed them that he would be meeting his friend Suleman at the Social Security Hospital in order to decide a monetary issue between them. The family members said that when the deceased did not reach home after a whole night, they registered a kidnapping case against Suleman in the Islampura Police Station.
According to police, the dead body was recovered from a Mehran car and there were marks on the neck of the deceased which showed that he was strangulated. The deceased was identified after police recovered the registration papers of the car from his pocket.
Meanwhile, the police arrested the alleged killer Suleman on the insistence of the deceased person’s relatives, while the body was handed over to the family of Qadir.
Police said that the details of the incident would be revealed after the investigation of Suleman.
