Pakistan will celebrate Eid al-Azha on October 27 as Zonal Reut-e-Hilal Committee sighted Zil Hajj in Lahore on Wednesday.
Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Commitee would make formal announcement of moon sighting after receiving evidences from different parts of the country.
Earlier, Meteorological Department said in a statement that the moon would be seen easily as the sky was clear in most part of the country.
The moon was sighted clearly on Wednesday evening in almost all parts of the country.
It will be better if we keep Mullahs away from this affair. This rotten class is the main problem of muslims. We do not need Mufti Muneebs. Moonsighting must be left to the scientists.
Mufti Muneeb is also a mathematician so you can call him an expert in this field!
🙂
I've always wondered what happens when it gets cloudy for instance, how can you rely on visual sighting then,as one Mullah may have better vision than another! The emphasis should be on a method which avoids dispute and that is the scientific method.Islam is not static it is not fixed in history , it is dynamic .Allah(SWT)wants us to advance and develop using His Laws of mathematics which various humans have discovered as these are universal and common to all.
