Islamabad Sihala Police arrested three persons, including a woman, for their alleged involvement in a blind murder case and recovered the murder tool from their possession, a police spokesman said on Tuesday. According to details, Azam Khan spotted an unidentified body near a graveyard in Swan area on August 26 and informed the Sihala Police about it. The police shifted the body to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a post-mortem and the deceased was identified as Muhammad Haleem, a resident of Peshawar. A case was registered at the Sihala police station under section 302/34 against unidentified persons. IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Yaseen Farooq directed SP (Rural) Sardar Sadaqat to ensure the arrest of the murderers.
