You do not say no to the CM’s daughter!

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s daughter, Rabia Imran, had a bakery worker beaten up by private guards and Elite Force personnel. According to details, on October 7, Rabia forcibly entered Sweet Tooth, a bakery located in Phase-II Defence Housing Authority (DHA), which was closed at the time, insisting on making purchases. When Irfan, a cleaner at the shop, told her that he could not make sales because the shop was closed and the cashier and other staff were not present, Rabia entered into a heated argument following which she rammed out.
Later that evening, personnel from Elite Force along with a few plain clothed guards made an appearance at the bakery. They beat up the worker Irfan and took him along to an unknown location where he was further assaulted. “They took me to an unknown location where I was severely beaten. It was dark and I couldn’t figure out what place it was,” said Irfan who was in a bad shape following the assault.
The CM took notice of the torture on the bakery employee. He said that the incident took place on October 7 while he was abroad and it was brought to his notice last morning. On his orders, two police officials involved in the incident were arrested immediately after registration of a case under FIR No. 641/12 at a local police station. He said that no one was above the law and the act was unpardonable.
Spokesman of Punjab Government Senator Pervez Rashid while talking to Pakistan Today said that the footage showed a woman having an argument only, which was not a crime.
Action must be taken against the guards and officials who assaulted the worker, he said.

  13. Why isnt CM's daughter involved in the FIR? Is she above the LAW? There isnt any fault of the guards. Guards were ordered to do so by Rabia. She is the one to be punished not the guards!

    • It apparent but im prepared to bet the guards will say she never sent them to beat the worker up. Thats why no FIR against rabia imran will be lodged.

    • no this incident proves that if someone is lahori and belong to kashmiri family dont create hurdles in his/her eating moods.One should think after seeing her that how hungry that lady was that even in midnight she was in search of bakery products to calm down the cries of her stomach.

Just because he is worker, they have right to beat him up like this? same thing going for Gilani sons, they think they are above the law, because one thug got a chance to be PM CM or something! please get rid of these family mafias, vote for anything but family cartels.   33. When are we going to get beyond this 'ghulammi' culture? If Rabia Imran told those policemen to jump into the Indus would they humbly submit? When are we going to get policeman who will stand up for the common man ? What has the kind of Islam that is popular in Pakistan (the blind faith type perpetrated by Mullahs) done for its people? It has made them weak and cowardly instead of rising up and resisting against oppression.

  34. Those who understand actual ground realities in the Pakistani system of governance are pro-political establishment and support the political status quo and right wing ideology. They are the PML-N “Jialas,” who proclaim that the Punjab CM has set an unprecedented example of “sound judgment” by taking legal action against a close member of the family. But the problem is that those “Jialas” are not addressing the fundamental issue: What prompted the entire incident and what political-sociological factors seem to be instrumental in the making of this episode? It seems that the “Jialas” are blinded by their own interests.
