“Shabash Pakistan” is a nation branding movement envisioned by the School of Leadership which aims to portray Pakistanis as peace loving and progressive individuals. SOL hosted the first session of “Shabash Pakistan” at NUST in collaboration with Bazm-e-Pakistan Society. The second session was held Air University.
In its latest endeavor, “Shabash Pakistan” would conduct three one-day sessions each in four universities over a period of three months.
The targeted segments would be undergraduate and graduate students. Umair Jaliawala, prounced the third sessions open. Proceedings started with playing of the National Anthem. The theme of the current session was “MAN and the power of ‘I’ in bringing a social change in the society, by taking personal responsibility”. Umair said that the youth should get politically involved and it was high time for the youth to take charge of their destinies by uniting against all the evils rampant in the society. Games, exercises and group discussions were organized to channelize and identify the passions and talents of the youth. The daylong session was closed after each participant replied to the question “what will I personally do to bring positive change?”
SOL had termed its objectives as fruits and the four fruits which SOL envisions to impart the students with were: “making the Pakistani young blood more loyal to the brand that is called “Pakistan” and to make them feel proud as “Pakistanis.”The second fruit was: “reap is to make the youth realize their responsibility towards the country and that the youth is encouraged to launch ‘Social Action Projects’” and the third fruit was: “encouraging the youth to reflect Pakistan as positive and upbeat on social media”. The last fruit was: “provide a platform to the students to develop and polish their leadership skills”.
School of Leadership commands respect as the pioneer in the training industry of Pakistan. It acted as a platform for individuals to discover and utilize their talents to elevate themselves through conscious endeavors. SOL helps brings about positive changes in people’s personal, professional and social lives, which favorably impacts their families, organizations, communities and society at large. SOL aspires to empower people through greater awareness of self and their environment, to equip them to effectively steer their communities and organizations to higher levels of sustainable growth, impact and profitability.
