The fresh buzz is that the talented actress has bagged the role of the female lead in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Gunday’ starring Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film was earlier offered to Katrina Kaif. But following PeeCee’s performance in ‘Barfi!’, the makers of ‘Gunday’ decided to take her on board. A source close to the production house said to a daily, “The lead female role is rather challenging and performance based. And the makers thought that Priyanka would fit the bill better.” However, PeeCee’s PR refuted the news and said, “It’s not true”.
