Muhammad Shafiq appointed Vice Chief of Naval Staff

Vice Admiral Muhammad Shafiq has been appointed Vice Chief of Naval Staff on Tuesday. Notification has been issued in this regard.
According to Spokesman of Pakistan Navy, Vice Admiral Muhammad Shafiq was commissioned in the Operations Branch of Pakistan Navy in June 1977.
He has served on many important Command and Staff appointments including 2nd in Command of a Destroyer, Command of Naval Air Wing and Naval Aviation. His major staff appointments include Deputy Director at JSHQ, Director Maritime Affairs at NHQ, DDG PMSA, Drafting Authority, Directing Staff at NDU, Chief Inspector (Navy) and Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Projects-2). Presently he is serving at NHQ as Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Admin). In recognition of his services, he has been awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) and Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military).

    • Very Good TC .Do you know from which background Kiyani and Mushard had come.if dont know kindly let me give permission to tell you in right words and how they transformed themselves into corrupt and incompetent officers after reaching to top army ranks.Such kind of wrong praise is one of reason of our poor performance in required areas

      • Just because some officers went corrupt does not mean the whole lot is corrupt. Over generalization (what u just did) is one of the traits of pure Pakistani mentality. For God's sakes get out of it and hope for the good.
