Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said on Monday that historic participation of the people in the public meeting of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) had proved the popularity of the party among them and that it was a rebuttal to the claims of those who were claiming that party had lost mandate of the masses.

He termed participation of the people in the public meeting a referendum for those who launched a negative propaganda against the PPP.
Sindh Minister for Fisheries Zahid Ali Bhrgari, also the president of PPP Hyderabad, termed the public meeting a historic gathering and added that it was an effort of the party leadership for their rights that the people from all over Sindh had arrived in Hyderabad to participate in the meeting and communicate a clear message to opponent that PPP was the only political party which had deep roots among them.
Bhurgari said the propaganda of the opponents had breathed its last after the mammoth public meeting of the party.
Meanwhile, tens of thousands of the people from different parts of the province were witnessed approaching the venue of public meeting to show their support for the PPP.
The organizers had set up a 12 feet high stage for speakers. The participants of the meeting were witnessed dancing on party songs. Normal security arrangements were made at the route of the public meeting while the organizers were seen guiding the people and ensuring smooth flow of traffic.
Mr Minister Sharjeel Memon, you have joined as a doppelgänger of Asif Zardari when you speak in support of reviled SPLGO and take pride in telling nothing but lies. Your repeated innuendos against Nawaz Sharif indicate that you have become paranoid of Mian Nawaz Sharif. Do not forget that your boss AZ was profusely praising COD and later backed out. Your boss had a coalition arrangement with Mian Nawaz Sharif for about one year. It is unfortunate that the partnership broke down purely because of stupid actions of AZ.
You are claiming that there was a large number of people who attended the meeting in Hyderabad yesterday. It appeared as if PPP was celebrating the division of Sindh. Let me tell you Mr Minister that Sindhis belonging to all walks of life living in Sindh and overseas have been thoroughly disappointed and hurt by the passage of the bill.
