Microsoft is imposing a permanent ban for those who intend to play the pre-release version of Halo 4 prohibiting anyone who wants to play the game through their Xbox Live setup. This is their way of using a deterrent to stop those trying experience the multiplayer with a leaked copy. News of this pre-release game leak has been reported on many sites and a spokesperson for the company mentions how they aim to enforce this situation. Plenty of Xbox Live users have already come forward about the messages they have been getting from the Live Enforcement Team and this concerns inevitable bans for those trying to experience the Halo 4 multiplayer prior to next months release. In an article on Gaming Blend, they highlight Microsoft’s stance as they work with both law enforcement and their own security teams to address this problem. Apparently, a letter informs users that noobs have been issued with a level 10 perma-ban, concerning those who have been silly enough to play an unreleased game on Xbox Live.
