Unidentified armed men late on Monday barged into the house of noted Ghazal singer Ghulam Ali and robbed his family at gunpoint. The incident occurred in Defence police precincts when four armed robbers broke into the house and took the residents hostage at gunpoint. The criminals made away with Rs 800,000 in cash and at least 90 tolas of gold. Ghulam Ali is himself in the UK on a tour at the moment.
