  1. assets in Pakistan or other countries?who will testify/confirm the foreign assets and assets in the name of near relatives and off shore companies?

  2. Decades of adventurism in democracy have seen this country go from bad to worse. In light of the recent shenanigans by anti-democratic elements, it is the duty of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to preserve and protect the prime aim of transparent general elections. It is really hoped that the five-year strategic plan of the ECP, under the guidance of Fakhruddin G Ibrahim, will render honest results in the upcoming general elections. Our current prism of problems demands that the democratic process continue so that the main issues in society are resolved. We must defend the culture of transparent general elections. There is only one critical litmus test: it is a national challenge for both the democratic government and the ECP to make sure that there are no holdups in ensuring free and fair elections. One must give credit to incumbent government for making ECP strong enough to take impartial decisions. Where in the history of Pakistan every incumbent government used ECP to get a leverage in elections, PPP has proved that it is quite ambitious for free and fair elections. A true democratic culture by a true democratic party.
