Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday directed the concerned authorities to identify the site in city for the construction of hostel for poets, writers and intellectuals at the earliest. He also directed that work on the project be initiated without delay while identification process for the site of the hostel should be completed on priority basis. He said that poets, writers and intellectuals coming from other cities would be provided all necessary facilities at the hostel. Shahbaz further said that all facilities in the hostel should be in accordance with the status of poets, writers and intellectuals.
He hoped that with the stay of personalities associated with literature, a culture of dialogue would be promoted between intellectuals of different provinces.
