Dacoits robbed Rs 130 million from a at Shadman intersection on Monday. According to details, Rana Majid and Rana Afzal, who are employees at Paracha Money Changers, withdrew an amount of Rs 130 million from Royal Money Changers Duty Free Shop. They had reached Shadman via Jail road and were waiting at a traffic signal when four robbers attacked their car. The robbers, they claimed, fired shots at the car shattering the windows and fled with the money. Police reached the venue of the incident on being informed through a 15 phone call. Having reviewed the place of incident, the police said that they found no evidence of firing. Police sources said that they had contacted the administration of Royal Money Changers to check their records so that the exact time of the transaction can be ascertained. The police further said that assuming the accusers did in fact make the claimed transaction; they should not have been at Shadman.
