There is no stopping the robbers!

Robbers continued their activities in different areas of the city on Sunday and deprived citizens of vehicles and other valuables.
Fayyaz Afzal, a resident of Javaid Park was returning to his house when robbers stopped him and forcibly robbed him off Rs 36,000 on gunpoint in the area of Shadbagh. On offering resistance, the robbers injured him and escaped. Later, local people shifted him to Mayo Hospital for treatment.
In another incident, Khalid, a resident of Makka Colony, Gulberg was going to meet his in-laws along with his wife when robbers stopped him and robbed him of 4 tolas of gold and thousands of rupees in cash on gunpoint in the area of Defense-A.
Moreover, many citizens were also deprived from their vehicles in different areas of the city. A citizen named Bilal lost his motorcycle, registration number LEP 4182, from the area of Satukatla. Similarly, Nadeem was deprived of his motorcycle, number LEW 754, which was taken away from the area of Defense. Another motorcycle, number LEK 7724, was stolen from Sabzazar and belonged to Asad. Furthermore, two citizens named Muhammad Khalid and Ali also lost their motorcycles in the Ghalib Market area of Gulberg.
Separately, in a crackdown against gamblers, police arrested 9 gamblers from Shahdara and recovered thousands of rupees in cash, mobile phones, telephones, laptops and other items from their possession.
