Six persons were dead and another 17 injured in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a truck on Monday.
Police said the incident took place when a speedy truck collided with a passenger bus near Phoolnagar by-pass.
After the accident, locals gathered in large numbers and helped in taking out the dead and injured from the bus. Rescue 1122 team and police also arrived at the scene and shifted the dead bodies and injured to District Headquarters Hospital Kasur.
Hospital sources said that the condition of five injured was critical and there was fear of increase in death toll.
