General Secretary of Pakistan People’s Party and leader of the Upper House, Senator Jahangir Badar has said his party has strategics for elections in the Punjab province.
Talking to the media men Monday in his chamber, Senator Jahangir Badar said the members of Parliament from Punjab and former ticket-holders of PPP have been directed to extend their connections with the masses in view of preparations of the next general elections.
Jahangir Badar announced that Chairman of PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will lead the election campaign of the party in Punjab, and he will start the campaign by addressing a moot in Mandi Bahauddin soon.
The next general elections will demarcate the difference between Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz, he said adding that one belongs to escapists while the other is the heir of the blood of the martyrs.
He noted that he has asked for recommendations regarding electoral reforms from high courts bar associations, national press club and certain NGOs. Those who have given recommendations till Monday will be summoned to take their views, and accordingly, electoral reforms will be implemented, he maintained.
