Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Chief, Munawar Hasan has said the people issuing directives for collecting particulars on imams and khatibs of mosques and the ulema were a total failure in spite of being a party in the federal and the provincial government for a long time. While addressing delegations from different parts of the country attending the JI central workshop, he said that ever since the MQM came into being, the people of Karachi had been collecting dead bodies, while extortion and target killings had become a routine.
