Afghan President Hamid Karzai in a letter to Imran Khan has enquired from him what steps were being taken by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for wiping out terrorism and Khan was expected to reply after his return from the current Turkey tour, said a handout issued here by PTI. President Hamid Karzai said that a wave of shock and anger ran through the entire world over the gruesome Malala Yusufzai attack and added that he understood the thoughts and worries of Imran Khan over drones, but we should also think that what steps we were taking for the eradication of terrorism. Karzai further said that the responsibility of combating extremism and terrorism was ours. He said that he equally shared the worries of Imran Khan over war and extremism in the region and we should jointly make efforts for peace in the region and sustained progress.
